Day 27: He’ll Make Your Bitter Water Sweet, Exodus 15:25-26

Your Daily Dose

Theme: He’ll Make Your Bitter Water Sweet

Scripture : Exodus 15:25-26

And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord showed him a tree, which when he had

cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet. And he said, If you wilt

diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right

in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I

will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I brought upon the Egyptians:

for I am the Lord that healeth thee!

Points To Ponder

God sometimes will show you a miracle just to get your attention. He wants to

veer you back on course, but He does expect something in return. In this

example—He did the impossible. He took bitter water and turned it into sweet!

Metaphorically, He can make your bitter water sweet—He can change your

situation from bleak to bright—just with His Word!

But the question is? Why? What is His purpose?

The answer is in the remainder of this passage:

Do what is right in HIS sight

Give ear to His commandments

Keep all His statutes

IF you do these things…

THEN HE will do this:

Put no diseases on you that I put on your enemy!

Why?

Because HE is the Lord God who healeth thee!

So…you may wonder why you are not getting your prayers answered?

I know this is NOT popular, but it IS still true…

It all comes down to Logic…

IF…THEN…

IF you do what is right in HIS sight

THEN HE will heal you and restore your health and touch your life!

Simple, right?

Now go apply it to your life!

Let’s Pray Together

Heavenly Father, I ask you to review my life and show me what needs to change

so that I can do what’s right in YOUR eyes. I want to please you in my life. I want

to get your attention through my obedience and my worship. Both of those get

your attention. Point out what YOU want me to correct so YOU can be pleased

with my life. I need your healing; I need your touch.

Help me honor you with my life—so you will heal my land!

Amen
